Sandi is in love with all things ocean and nautical and had a great idea that I couldn't pass up: why don't we take pictures of Harbor at the marina? So smart, so brilliant, and so loving. I could tell that this busy mom took in every single moment that her daughter was snuggled close up in her arms with joy and adoration. Babywearing is the perfect way to connect for this beautiful duo.
How did you first get into babywearing? As a baby, my mom wore me. She told me all about how much she was able to do hands free. I always knew about carriers but had no idea how many options there were! I wanted to try them all! And I did! From mei tais to woven wraps, Tulas to ring slings... I'm still learning and experimenting, loving every minute of closeness and convenience.
What does babywearing mean to you? Babywearing is a chance to be close to my baby since I can't be with here all the time. As a full-time working mother, I crave the close contact and snuggles more than anything. But laundry still needs to be done, dinner still needs to be cooked, and the house still needs to be cleaned. Babywearing gives me the ability to snuggle Jaylah while I get stuff done or while I'm getting my retail therapy on!
